Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on HockeyOS (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

HockeyOS provides software for managing hockey leagues, organizations, and teams, including roster, schedule, statistics, registration, and embeddable public widgets. We may update the Service from time to time.

3. Accounts & security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us at support@hockeyos.ca if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions & payment

Paid plans renew at the interval shown at signup until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; the plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) use the Service to violate any law, (b) attempt to circumvent access controls or rate limits, (c) upload content you don't have rights to distribute, or (d) use the Service to send unsolicited communications. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Content & ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (rosters, schedules, photos, documents). You grant us a license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service. We retain ownership of the Service itself.

7. Termination

You may delete your organization at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
